HOMEOWNER NEWSLETTER, August Edition

UPDATE FROM THE DEVELOPER'S DESK

Have you all noticed the new buckrail fence lining the Base Camp One driveway? And the new flower garden at the main entrance? In addition to these recent improvements, we have plans to clean up the ditch on the East side of the main drive and improve the landscaping in the backyard.

On the sales front, we are pleased to tell you that our Denver Post real estate advertorial generated a bunch of new leads. If you missed it, click here to read the article. Thanks to Mr. Touslee for his endorsement.

We've also had a strong response to our summer promotion, which we've been advertising in the Sky High Daily News and the Denver Post HUB publications (in both Highlands Ranch and Stapleton neighborhoods). With the pending contracts in hand, there are only a few residences remaining at 35% off. Our plan is to continue raising prices through the year, so if you have any friends or family interested in owning a home at Base Camp One, now is the time! Just a reminder that with each new homeowner you refer, you (and the purchaser) will receive one year's worth of BCO Operating dues.

GRAND COUNTY: 4 SEASONS OF ADVENTURE

As we've highlighted in our recent homeowner newsletters, there are endless possibilities for summer activities in Grand County. But without question, our favorite place to be this time of year is Grand Lake. Here's a short video that outlines some of the reasons why....

EVENTS

Before we lose our nice warm weather, we'd like to invite you all to one last summer gathering at Base Camp One.

Join us for a Mountain Top Barbeque, Saturday, September 4 from 5:30pm - 7:30pm. Enjoy the sunset from the top of SolVista Basin and visit with our favorite Grand County Ranger, who will be available to share information about the area and local wildlife. It'll be just like those old summer-camp campfires you remember as a kid...

Please email Amy if you plan on attending. Special arrangements have been made for us to ride the chairlift after it closes to the public, so if we're not able to confirm attendance from at least 4 or 5 families, we will likely reschedule this event for another time.

For those of you who weren't able to come to town for the National Mountain Bike Championships at Granby Ranch, we were sorry to have missed you! The weekend was a blur - and so much fun! Click here for pictures from the event.

CONNECT WITH THE BASE CAMP ONE COMMUNITY

It's been fun watching you begin to connect with your fellow homeowners and build a strong community at Base Camp One.

In an effort to continue this growth, we've created a facebook page for you - in the hopes that it will serve as a central meeting place for you to meet other Base Camp One families, plan gatherings, share photos, etc. If you're interested in participating, follow this link and click "Become a Fan".
