SALES & MARKETING SUCCESSES

We're pleased to share with you that we have passed the halfway mark at Base Camp One! We've closed 3 deals since the start of the year and have another 3 under contract. We've been running ads all season in the local Sky Hi Daily News, as well as the Stapleton Porch and Highlands Ranch Herald. We ran a campaign over President's Day Weekend, which included an email to the Denver Post distribution list and an Impact Note on the cover of the paper.

The Denver Post even featured us on the cover of the Real Estate section, Saturday February 19 - Base Camp One at Granby Ranch finds it's the kids that want to return again and again; President's Day special 35% off. A huge thank you to The Fleetwood family (seen to the right) for their support of Base Camp One, and their willingness to share their experiences so publicly!

We encourage you to continue to spread the word about Base Camp One and invite your friends and family to come experience the place for themselves! When considering who you will invite to stay in the GuestHouse, however, please keep in mind that although this has become a popular amenity, it is a marketing tool first and foremost. And don't forget that in exchange for any new buyer you refer, we'll offer one year of HOA dues for both you and the purchaser. Email Amy to make arrangements.

HOMEOWNER SPOTLIGHT

Meet the Mullers, the newest family to join our BCO community.

Originally from Baltimore, MD, and current residents of Broomfield, CO, the Mullers were first introduced to Granby Ranch in 2006 by friends who own a place in Grand Lake. They fell in love with the family atmosphere at Granby Ranch and the type of people the resort seemed to attract. So, when they decided this year that they wanted a place where they could go all the time to escape the hustle of the city, Base Camp One appeared a great fit.

Eric and Marlan have three kids - Chris (11) who plays football and lacrosse, Karianna (9) who swims competitively and does dance, and Nicholas (5) who has tried his feet in Tae Kwon Doe and gymnastics. The whole family skis, including Nicholas who will soon be wrapping up ski lessons and joining the family ski days. In fact, they are now a ski/snowboard family, since last weekend when Chris showed his dad how to snowboard. Eric recalls, "We spent part of the morning on Zig Zag, and then after lunch Chris took me down Buckhorn. My shoulders were a bit sore from falling backwards and trying to protect my wrists, but otherwise, I'm OK. I didn't break anything. In fact, speaking as an old time skier, it was quite a bit of fun and something I will do again. I can actually understand what the younger generation appreciates about it!" The Muller Family's favorite ski runs at SolVista are Ghost Rider and High Roller, and Eric calls the scallop dish at Seven Trails Grille "a dream". Please help us in welcoming the Mullers to the community!

PRESIDENT'S DAY WEEKEND APRES SKI

It was great visiting with so many of you at our President's Weekend Apres Ski Event, and seeing that you're all getting to know each other and building a real community at Base Camp One! It's a real pleasure to walk down the hallway and see your doors open to your neighbors. Click here to see photos from Sunday, February 20.

CONNECT WITH OUR COMMUNITY, AND EARN FREE TICKETS TO WINTER PARK

As many of you already know, we've created a facebook page for you. We'd like to encourage you all to join and use this as the central meeting place, where you connect with other BCO families, plan gatherings, share photos, etc. As added incentive to participate, we'll reward the best wall posts or photo/video uploads with free ski tickets to Winter Park (valid this season). Follow this link, click "Like This", and share a fun Granby Ranch story on our wall, upload photos from your last trip to Base Camp One, or post a video of your kids telling why they love going to their ski condo.

We've also received requests from many of you to create a homeowner directory. If you DO NOT WISH to be included, please email Amy before Monday, March 21. If we do not hear from you, we'll assume you wish to participate, and your contact information will appear on the directory.
